being convinced that bonds in the field of culture and art are equitable to radical interests of the people of both countries and will promote further development of the relations of friendship and mutual cooperation,

in view of interests of citizens of both states living in the territories of Contracting parties

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Contracting parties, relying on cultural and spiritual bonds of the people of Uzbekistan and Belarus, will and promote development between them of cooperation, in the field of culture and art from now on.

Contracting parties will promote carrying out Culture Days of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus and Culture Days of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Article 2

Each Contracting party will provide to the citizens broad access to achievements of culture of other Party.

Contracting parties will promote establishment, expansion and deepening of direct cooperation and direct connections between public institutions and public organizations of culture, to experience exchange between the interested departments.

Article 3

Contracting parties will promote on the basis of bilateral programs and projects of cultural cooperation to exchange of professional and amateur art collectives, groups, ensembles, certain contractors.

Article 4

In the field of performing art each of Contracting parties will render assistance to the organization of festivals, reviews, tours of collectives and soloists, implementation of scenic statements of musical and drama works of other Contracting party.
