Approve the Procedure for acceptance of temporary emergency measures on overcoming effects of long violation of normal work of the market of electrical energy which is applied.

Procedure for acceptance of temporary emergency measures on overcoming effects of long violation of normal work of the market of electrical energy

1. This Procedure determines the bases and the procedure of decision making about acceptance of temporary emergency measures by overcoming effects of long violation of normal work of the market of electrical energy because of emergence of the emergencies in the integrated power system of Ukraine caused by damage of electrical power installations, their elements, constructions or as a result of emergency situations (further - temporary emergency measures).

2. Criteria/types of violations of normal work of the market of electrical energy in case of which emergence temporary emergency measures are taken are:

1) damages of electrical power installations and/or illegal intervention of the third parties in functioning of electrical power installations and network economy which lead to violation of the mode of admissible overflows the high-level and interstate power networks, and also overloads of network elements which can lead to restriction of consumption of electrical energy more than on 100 MW;

2) decrease in reserve of the power generating capacities of the integrated power system of Ukraine below admissible level within three days;
