Article 1

Bring in article 7 of the Federal Law of January 10, 1996 No. 6-FZ "About additional guarantees of social protection of judges and workers of offices of courts of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 1996, No. 3, Art. 144; 2002, No. 26, Art. 2522; 2008, No. 52, Art. 6229) following changes:

"Article 7. Determine that length of service of the judge of the Russian Federation in case of calculation of the years of service granting the right to all payment types and privileges joins time of prior work in offices of courts on positions which substitution requires the higher legal education, and also as the prosecutor, the investigator, the lawyer if length of service in judgeship constitutes at least 10 years, except as specified early termination of powers of the judge on the bases provided by subitems 2 and 9 of Item 1 of article 14 of the Law of the Russian Federation of June 26, 1992 No. 3132-1 "About the status of judges in the Russian Federation".";

2) part the second to recognize invalid;

To add 3) with part three of the following content:

"Provisions of this Article are subject to application in case of calculation of length of service for purpose of dismissal wage and the monthly perpetual maintenance according to Items 3 and 5 of article 15 of the Law of the Russian Federation of June 26, 1992 No. 3132-1 "About the status of judges in the Russian Federation", and also in case of calculation of the years of service granting the right to other payment types and privileges.".

Article 2

1. This Federal Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
