About veterinary case
This Law determines legal, organizational basis of veterinary case, regulates the main directions of realization of state policy on protection against diseases, treatment of animals, protection of the population against diseases, general for the person and animals, to non-admission of drift of infectious diseases of animals on the territory of Turkmenistan from foreign states, to quality assurance and safety of live stock products and poultry farming, forages, feed additives.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
1) veterinary case – the activities of legal entities and physical persons directed to the prevention of diseases of animals and their treatment, release of high-quality and safe animal products in the veterinary relation and protection of the population against diseases, general for the person and animals;
2) veterinary documents – permissions, references, the conclusions, guaranty letters, veterinary certificates on paper and (or) through digital network, issued in certain procedure by veterinary specialists about animals, places of their arrangement, livestock production products, confirming and guaranteeing quality made in our country, imported into Turkmenistan, exported out of its limits conveyed as transit goods through the territory of Turkmenistan of the animal products which are subject to veterinary control;
3) veterinary medicines – the substances received from bodies of animals, microorganisms, plants and chemical methods, intended for destruction of activators and carriers of diseases for the purpose of prevention, diagnostics and treatment of diseases of animals;
4) the state accounting of veterinary medicines, forages, feed additives – introduction by the Public veterinary service under the Ministry of rural hozyaystvaturkmenistan (further – Service) in certain procedure for veterinary medicines, forages, feed additives in the State register by results of their examination, testing and issue of certificates of the state accounting on them;
