About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About medicines" concerning drug circulation and the state quality control of the medicines imported on customs area of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About medicines" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1996, No. 22, Art. 86; 2007, No. 3, Art. 30; 2012, Art. No. 19-20, 168, No. 23, Art. 239; 2013, No. 23, Art. 225; 2014, Art. No. 2-3, 41, No. 10, Art. 114, No. 39, Art. 2012):

Part the eighteenth Article 9 to replace 1) with two parts of the following content:

"After the termination of term during which use of medicine in Ukraine was authorized its further application is possible on condition of re-registration. After re-registration application term in Ukraine medicine is not limited.

The medicines released during the term during which medicine was allowed for use in Ukraine can be applied in Ukraine before the termination of their expiration date specified by the producer and specified on packaging".

With respect thereto the nineteenth - twenty third to consider parts respectively parts of the twentieth - the twenty fourth;

Part the second Article 17 to state 2) in the following edition:

"Control of import to customs area of Ukraine of medicines is exercised by the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of quality control and safety of medicines. All medicines imported on customs area of Ukraine for the purpose of their further realization (trade) or use in production of finished pharmaceutical products are subject to the state quality control. The procedure of the state quality control of the medicines imported on customs area of Ukraine is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
