Bring in the Federal Law of December 3, 2012 No. 229-FZ "About procedure for forming of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2012, No. 50, Art. 6952; 2013, No. 14, Art. 1638; No. 19, Art. 2329; 2014, No. 26, Art. 3402) following changes:

Item 2 of part 3 of Article 2 to state 1) in the following edition:

"2) in total within five years preceding promotion by the candidate for granting of power to the member of the Federation Council:

a) passes or passed military service, service in law-enforcement bodies, organizations and bodies of criminal executive system, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances, customs authorities, tax authorities, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, bodies of prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation in the territory of appropriate subject of the Russian Federation;

b) passes or passed diplomatic service and has diplomatic rank of the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary;

c) replaces or replaced the state positions or positions of the public civil service of appropriate subject of the Russian Federation;

d) replaces or replaced municipal positions or positions of municipal service of appropriate subject of the Russian Federation.";
