About modification of the Instruction about procedure for regulation of activities of banks in Ukraine

According to Articles 7, of 15, of 55, of 56, 58 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", Articles 66, 67 Laws of Ukraine "About banks and banking activity", for the purpose of increase in efficiency and ensuring stable activities of banks of Ukraine the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine decides:

1. Chapter 2 of the Section II of the Instruction on procedure for regulation of activities of banks in Ukraine approved by the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of August 28, 2001 No. 368, registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on September 26, 2001 for No. 841/6032 (with changes), after Item 2.2 to add with new Item 2.3 of the following content:

"2.3. The minimum size of the regulatory capital of bank (N 1) who lost the status of transitional bank which was created according to the paragraph the second parts of the sixteenth article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "About system of guaranteeing household deposits", shall conform to requirements of Item 2.2 of this Chapter".

With respect thereto to consider Item 2.3 Item 2.4.

2. To department of normative and methodological ensuring bank regulation and supervision (Ivanenko N. V.) to bring contents of this resolution to the attention of banks of Ukraine and territorial administrations of the National Bank of Ukraine for use in work.

3. The resolution becomes effective since December 18, 2014.

4. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Pisaruk A. V.
