The deputy is the citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan elected in corresponding regional, district, city Kengash of People's Deputies (further - Kengash of People's Deputies) and registered according to regional, district and City Elections Commission according to the Electoral code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The deputy performs the activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the government on places", this Law and other legal acts.

At the same time the deputy is Kengash's part of People's Deputies located in the territory of the constituency or Kengash of People's Deputies created on again formed administrative and territorial unit, and the term of office of the deputy corresponds to term of office of this Kengash of People's Deputies.
