About the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkmen commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation

The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Turkmenistan which further are referred to as with the Parties

for the purpose of further deepening of friendship between two states,

aiming at expansion and strengthening of trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation on the basis of the principles of international law, equality and mutual advantage, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties create the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkmen commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation (further referred to as - the Commission).

Article 2

The main objectives of the Commission are:

assistance to development and strengthening of mutually beneficial trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan;

rendering assistance in development and realization of the most perspective directions of development in different spheres of economy of two countries;

the analysis behind the course of implementation of the international treaties signed between two states and also control of accomplishment of the decisions made on commission sessions;

coordination of activities of the ministries, departments and organizations of the states of the Parties for preparation of drafts of bilateral international treaties for the different directions of trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation and their introduction for consideration of the Parties;

rendering assistance in development and approval of programs of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen economic cooperation, including on attraction rendering assistance in development and approval of programs of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen economic cooperation, including on attraction of the foreign capital and technologies, creation of financial and industrial groups, joint businesses, establishment of direct production connections, and also determination of interaction on their realization;
