The Ministry of Culture, information and tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

recognizing need of deepening and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation,

considering importance of cultural interaction in strengthening of friendly bonds between two countries,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties on the basis of equality and reciprocity, in view of national legal systems of the states of the Parties and rule of international law, will create favorable conditions for development of interaction and exchange between the relevant organizations of two countries in the field of culture.

Article 2

The parties will support interaction between libraries and the museums of both countries by exchange of editions and experts.

Article 3

The parties perform interaction in the field of archeology, protection and use of objects of historical and cultural heritage. Also exchange of specialists is promoted in the field of preserving, by researches and restorations of objects of historical and cultural heritage.

Article 4

The parties promote cooperation in the field of opera, ballet, musical and theater, by experience exchange in holding the international actions.

Article 5

The parties communicate about the events in cultural life (seminars, tenders, conferences, colloquiums, round tables, sessions, festivals and other forms of exchange of creative and scientific experience) which are taking place in the territory of the states of the Parties and promote participation of the representatives in these actions.
