Article 1. Frontier of Turkmenistan

2) mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign states;

Article 3. Legislation of Turkmenistan on Frontier

1. The legislation of Turkmenistan on Frontier aimed at providing sovereignty and safety of Turkmenistan on Frontier is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan.

2. If the international treaty of Turkmenistan establishes other rules than provided by this Law, then rules of the international treaty are applied.

Article 4. Establishment of Frontier

1. The frontier is established in the following procedure:

1) on the land - on characteristic points and lines of land relief or it is clear to visible reference points;

2) at the sea - on external limit of the territorial sea of Turkmenistan;
