The national assembly of the Republic of Belarus and National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia which further are referred to as with the Parties
attaching importance to development and strengthening of the traditional relations of friendship, the mutual understanding and cooperation between the people of Belarus and Armenia based on the principles of respect of the rights and interests of each other
noting need of effective implementation of the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia of May 26, 2001,
being guided by the conventional principles and rules of international law,
confirming the commitment to parliamentarism as to basis of democratic development of the sovereign states,
emphasizing importance and relevance of inter-parliamentary cooperation for development of the comprehensive relations between two states,
aiming at further deepening of interaction in legislative and other spheres of parliamentary activities,
agreed as follows:
The parties shall promote development of inter-parliamentary cooperation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia for the benefit of strengthening of friendship between the states and their people.
The parties will promote extension of the contractual legal base between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia for the purpose of strengthening of equal relations and deepening of cooperation in political, trade and economic, scientific and technical, social, humanitarian and other areas which are of mutual interest.
The parties agreed to promote synchronization of process of ratification of the agreements signed between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia.
The parties will promote rapprochement and harmonization of national legal systems, providing interconsistency of systems of law of both states.
