for the purpose of strengthening and further development of cooperation between Belarus and Lithuania in the field of control of procedure for use of airspace,

realizing the increasing threat of terrorism and danger which it constitutes for the aviation and strategic objects subject to risk of attack from air,

emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in fight against terrorism, and also safety of strategic objects,

admitting the fact that the State company of the Republic of Lithuania "Ignalina nuclear power plant" is especially important strategic object from the point of view of safety at which providing it is necessary to aim all efforts,

for the purpose of ensuring effective exchange of information about flights of aircrafts

signed this agreement as follows:

Article I

For the purposes of this agreement stated below terms mean:

1. "Exchange of information" - exchange of information on the allocated communication channel.

2. "The prohibited area of EY(P)-1/UM(P)-183" - part of airspace over the State company of the Republic of Lithuania "The Ignalina nuclear power plant" within which use of airspace is forbidden.

Parameters of the prohibited area of EY(P)-1/UM(P)-183:

on height - from earth level - 6100 meters;

on the area - circle the radius of 5,4 nautical miles with the center having coordinates: 55 °35'59" northern latitude and 026 °33'53" east longitude.

3. "Aircraft" - the aircraft supported in the atmosphere due to interaction with air, other than interaction with the air reflected from the Earth's surface or water.

4. "Not identified flight" - flight of the aircraft which accessory and the purpose of flight by the performed operations by their determination according to the legislation of the state in whose airspace flight is made, are not established.
