Committee on standardization, metrology and certification under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the Latvian national bureau on LATAK accreditations which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

in development of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Latvia about mutual recognition of conformity assessment systems (certification) of products and standards of June 10, 1997

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will organize participation of the laboratories accredited by them in programs of interlaboratory checkings.

Article 2

The parties will organize joint seminars on training of experts in accreditation and experience exchange according to procedures of accreditation, exchange experts in case of accreditation of laboratories.

Article 3

The parties exchange legal acts on accreditation, information on national accreditation systems and accredited institutions.

Article 4

This agreement is signed sine die and becomes effective from the date of signing.

Any Party can terminate this agreement, having notified in writing other party on the intention.

The Agreement is terminated in 6 months from the date of receipt of such notification by other Party.

This agreement is effective along with the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on mutual recognition of conformity assessment systems (certification) of products and standards of June 10, 1997 and stops the action in case of cancellation of the specified intergovernmental agreement.
