Committee on standardization, metrology and certification under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the Latvian national metrological center, hereinafter referred to as with the Parties,

in development of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Latvia about mutual recognition of conformity assessment systems (certification) of products and standards of June 10, 1997,

for the purpose of enhancement of the mechanism of interaction in the field of ensuring unity of measurements

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties regularly communicate about again adopted regulatory legal acts in the field of ensuring unity of measurements.

Article 2

The parties recognize results of approval like the measuring instruments made in the countries of the Parties and results of calibration of measuring instruments on the established procedures.

Article 3

The parties cooperate in checking of standards of physical quantities.

Article 4

Information and documents received by one of the Parties within implementation of this agreement cannot be transferred to the third party without the consent of the Party which transferred her.

Article 5

The parties will organize meetings of officials and specialists, hold joint seminars for experience exchange, discussion and the solution of questions of mutual cooperation.

Article 6

The parties do not bear the financial responsibility for the damage or other claims arising owing to use of information obtained within implementation of this agreement.
