wishing to deepen economic cooperation for mutual advantage of both states,

aiming to create favorable conditions for the investments performed by investors of the state of one Contracting Party in the territory of the state of other Contracting Party

recognizing that assistance to implementation and mutual protection of investments according to this agreement will promote development of business initiative in both states,

agreed as follows:

Article 1 of Determination

In this agreement the stated below terms have the following value:

1. "Investments" - also includes all types of the property put or reinvested by investors of the state of one Contracting Party in the territory of the state of other Contracting Party according to the legislation for the purpose of implementation of economic activity, in particular, but not only:

a) personal and real estate and other property rights, such as mortgages, pledges, rights of pledge and similar rights;

b) shares, shares, bonds, shares and other forms of participation in the companies;

c) rights to claim concerning money or any obligation fulfillment under the agreement having economic value;

d) the rights to intellectual and industrial property (such as copyright, patents for inventions, useful models, industrial designs, trademarks or service marks, trade names, indications of origin), "know-how" and "goodwill", and also other similar rights recognized by the legislation of the states of both Contracting Parties;

e) the concessions provided according to the legislation of the state of the Contracting Party in the territory of which investments, including the rights to investigation, development, production and operation of natural resources are performed.
