considering mutual interest in equal cooperation in the field of education between the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine,
being guided by the Treaty of friendship, neighborliness and cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine of July 17, 1995, the Agreement of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States on cooperation in the field of education of May 15, 1992,
expressing readiness for cooperation in the field of science and education,
agreed as follows:
The parties will cooperate according to the current legislation of the states of the Parties, paying special attention to questions of studying of languages, history and cultural heritage of both states, experience exchange in the field of development and management of education, pedagogical and scientists for their further education, preparation of pedagogical personnel.
The parties will keep establishment and development of direct cooperation between educational institutions of the states of the Parties, to promote exchange of educational literature, benefits, training programs, audio-, video records on all industries, and also expansion of contacts in the field of the organization of work practice and tourism of pupils and students, to holding festivals, tenders, the Olympic Games, sports competitions.
The parties will help the direction on training and advanced training of citizens of the state in educational institutions of the state of other Party on the basis of equivalence and currency-free exchange.
Quantity the directed persons and financial conditions will be determined by the annual additional Protocol.
