The Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Moldova which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on regulations of the Contract between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova on economic cooperation for 2000-2009 of June 29, 2000,

attaching importance to strengthening and development of mutual business contacts between the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Moldova,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Economic cooperation of the Parties will be performed on the basis of mutual advantage and good will according to international agreements and national legal systems of both states.

Article 2

The parties consider the most important direction of joint operation discussion of questions of bilateral economic cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova.

For this purpose the Parties will perform preparation of offers on the specific directions of cooperation, both on industries, and by the types of productions which are of mutual interest.

Article 3

The parties will perform exchange of information on the questions entering their competence in the following directions:

- macroeconomic policy;

- foreign trade policy;

- social policy;

- investment policy;

- industry and agricultural industry;

- fuel and energy complex;

- development of business activity.

Article 4

The parties will hold consultations concerning condition and perspectives of the bilateral economic relations with the purpose of development of recommendations about enhancement of conditions and forms of economic cooperation.
