About modification of article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. The second article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 45, of Art. 425 with subsequent changes) to add part with Item 10 of the following content:

"10) persons which became disabled people owing to wound, mutilation, contusion or other injuries of health received during participation in mass actions of civil protest in Ukraine from November 21, 2013 to February 21, 2014 for European integration and against Yanukovych's regime (further - Advantage Revolution), and asked for medical care during the period from November 21, 2013 to April 30, 2014.

The paragraph one of this Item does not extend to the employees of militia, persons serving in law enforcement agencies of special purpose, the military personnel of internal troops, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military forming who became disabled as a result of wounds, mutilation, contusion or other injuries of health received on duty, connected with Advantage revolution events.

Participation of persons specified in paragraph one of this Item in Revolutions of Advantage and obtaining by them during the Revolution of Advantage of wounds, mutilation, contusion or other damages of health is established according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Communication of disability with wounds, mutilation, contusion or other damage of health sustained the faces specified in paragraph one of this Item with participation in Advantage revolution is established by results of medico-social examination according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The procedure for provision of the status of the disabled veteran to persons specified in paragraph one of this Item is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine".
