The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

approving creation on May 18, 1993 in the city of Moscow of Council of heads of the ministries and departments of the states - the former Republics of USSR on cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering (further Council), acting according to the Provision approved by it,

aiming at preserving and further development of cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering,

AGREED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

1. For the purpose of preserving the created potential production of the companies of mechanical engineering of the Parties and its rational use, and also continuous improvement of products, the Parties will sign bilateral and multilateral long-term agreements about preserving and development of specialization and cooperation of the machine-building enterprises providing mutual delivery of finished goods, the raw materials, materials, semifinished products, components, nodes, details necessary for production of the specified products with use in necessary cases of clearing basis of settlement, and also agreements about economic, scientific and technical and other types of cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering on 1994 and the next years.

2. For realization of the purposes of the Party provided in Item 1 of this Article can recruit in development, the conclusion and implementation of agreements joint-stock companies and other production structures of different patterns of ownership (from their consent) - further Societies.

The list of Societies is determined by the machine-building ministries and departments of the Parties.

Article 2

Implementation of the agreements mentioned in Article 1 of this agreement will be performed by the conclusion of contracts (contracts) between the interested companies and the organizations of the Parties and Societies with registration according to the legislation of the Parties of necessary documents for customs control.
