About introduction of amendments to the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses concerning settlement of responsibility for making of violence in family

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (Sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1984, appendix to No. 51, the Art. 1122) the following changes:

1) in Article 173-2:

in the paragraph the second to exclude parts one of the word "imposing of penalty from three to five free minima income of citizens or" and "or corrective works for a period of up to one month with assignment of twenty percent of earnings", and to replace the word of "five" with the word of "seven";

in the paragraph the second to exclude parts two of the word "imposing of penalty from five to ten free minima income of citizens or" and "or corrective works for a period of one up to two months with assignment of twenty percent of earnings";

Part the second articles 268 after figures "173" to add 2) with figures "173-2".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
