About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning strengthening of responsibility of the military personnel, provision to commanders of the additional rights and assignment of obligations during the special period

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. In the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (The sheet of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1984, appendix to No. 51, the Art. 1122):

Article 15 to add 1) with part five of the following content:

"The military personnel bears the responsibility provided by Chapter 13-B of this Code for making of military administrative offenses under condition if these offenses do not involve criminal liability";

Part one of Article 24 to add 2) with Item 8 of the following content:

"8) arrest with content on guardroom";

Chapter 3 to add 3) with Article 32-1 of the following content:

"Article 32-1. Arrest with content on guardroom

Arrest with content on guardroom is established and applied only in exceptional cases for separate types of military administrative offenses for a period of up to ten days. Arrest with content on guardroom is appointed district, district in the city, by city or district court (judge).

Arrest with content on guardroom cannot be applied to the female military personnel";

To add 4) with Chapter 13-B of the following content:

"Chapter 13-B Military administrative offenses

Article 172-10. Refusal of accomplishment of the order or other legal requirements of the commander (chief)

attracts arrest with content on guardroom for a period of up to ten days.

Article 172-11. Unauthorized leaving of part or duty station
