About entering of amendments into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About acts of civil status"

Article 1. In article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About acts of civil status" of December 8, 2004, ZR-9-N:

1) part 2 after words of "age of consent" to add with the words "except as specified, provided by the law";

Part 5 to add 2) with the Item "in" of the following content:

"c) the written consent of parents, adoptive parents or the custodian of the marrying person certified of notarial procedure or this by them in body of the REGISTRY OFFICE if the marrying person reached age of 16 or 17 years.".

Article 2. This law becomes effective for the tenth day after its official publication.

This Law does not extend to marriages, the applications submitted for state registration for which are received by registration authorities of acts of civil status to the introduction of this Law in force.
