About introduction of amendments to article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About militia" concerning payment of the one-time monetary assistance in case of death (death) or mutilation of the employee of militia

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About militia" (Sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1991, No. 4, Art. 20; 1992, No. 36, Art. 526; 1993, No. 11, Art. 83; 2006, No. 51, Art. 519; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of December 28, 2014 No. 76-VIII) the following changes:

1. Speak rapidly the third, sixth and seventh to state in the following edition:

"In case of death (death) of the employee of militia who was on service in law-enforcement bodies during execution of it service duties family of the died (dead), the one-time money allowance in the amount of 500-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons, according to the procedure and on the conditions determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is paid to his parents and dependents";

"In case of the wound (contusion, injury or mutilation) caused to the employee of militia in case of execution of service duties by it which led to establishment to it disability, and also the disability which came during service in law-enforcement bodies or not later than in three months after dismissal from service or after the termination of this term, but owing to the disease or accident taking place during service in law-enforcement bodies depending on extent of disability the lump-sum allowance in the amount of 250-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons - in case of establishment of disability of the I group, 200-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons - in case of establishment of disability of the II group, 150-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons is paid to it - in case of establishment of disability of III group according to the procedure and on the conditions determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Determination of degree of disability by the employee of militia during service in law-enforcement bodies in each case of damage of health is performed in individual procedure according to the legislation.

In case of receipt of wound by the employee of militia (contusion, injury or mutilation) during execution of it service duties that led to partial disability without establishment to it disability, the lump-sum allowance is granted and paid in the amount of, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. At the same time the size of lump-sum allowance shall not be less than 20-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons, and more than 100-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons".

2. The tenth to exclude part.

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the ministries and other central executive bodies in three-months time after entry into force of this Law to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.
