The border service of the Kyrgyz Republic and Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

for the purpose of ensuring activities for protection of the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstan frontier (daleegosudarstvenny border),

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform cooperation and interaction concerning operational search activities according to the procedure and on the conditions established by the this Protocol and also according to legislations of the states.

Article 2

The parties will organize cooperation concerning operational search activities in the way:

carrying out conjoint analysis of operational situation on frontier and at check points through it;

exchange of information, being of mutual interest;

rendering assistance on check of persons detained for illegal crossing of frontier, violation of the mode at check points;

developments of offers and their joint realization for the benefit of enhancement of operational search activities, strengthening of law and order on frontier;

execution of requests about conducting investigation and search operations and conducting inquiry on cases on violations of frontier and the related crimes.

The expenses connected with realization of provisions of this Article within the territory of the state, each Party bears independently.

Article 3

Each of the Parties provides confidentiality of information transferred by other Party if this information has confidential character or the transferring Party considers undesirable disclosure of its content. Degree of privacy of information is determined by the transferring Party.

Information transfer to the third party received by one of the Parties within the this Protocol is performed from written consent of the Party which transferred this information.
