The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

in development of the Contract on eternal friendship between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 8, 1997, Agreements on cooperation of border troops in the field of border control at check points through borders of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States with the states which are not entering the Commonwealth of November 25, 1998 and the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on mutual visa-free trips of citizens of November 30, 2000,

for the purpose of creating favorable conditions for development of the relations of neighborliness, friendship and cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan,

proceeding from the vital interests of ensuring mutual economic safety,

being guided by aspiration to creation of conditions for every possible development of cooperation and trade on the basis of the principles of equality and mutual benefit, need of enhancement of procedure for the omission through the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstan frontier of persons, goods and vehicles, for the purpose of identification and suppression of illegal migration, arms trafficking, ammunition, drugs, psychotropic and toxic agents and precursors,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the omission through the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstan frontier of persons, goods and vehicles of the Party decided to establish the multilateral and bilateral check points through frontier (further - check points) specified in the Appendix which is integral part of this agreement.

According to national legal systems of the states of the Party can establish certain check points for citizens of the states of the Parties.
