The academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and National academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"
being based the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the cooperation in the field of science, the equipment and technology signed on August 13, 2007 in Baku
noting need of development of scientific bonds between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Azerbaijan Republic,
considering and understanding importance of expansion of scientific research, technology transfers and scientific exchanges within equal and mutually beneficial cooperation between two countries,
agreed as follows:
The parties, according to national legal systems and within the competence will cooperate in the field of carrying out joint scientific research, and also exchange of researchers and delegations, implementation of joint research projects, rendering mutual aid in creation of new programs, exchange of information, editions and scientific publications, the organizations of conferences, symposiums, seminars and working meetings.
Depending on financial resources and practical opportunities, the Parties can create joint programs and research projects, Project coordinators and programs shall report on work progress to management of the relevant organizations at least once a year.
Development of joint activities of the Parties will depend on joint financial opportunities of the Parties or at the expense of additional sources of financing.
Financial consent according to drafts of specific programs will be reached by negotiations.
Correspondence between the Parties is performed in Russian.
The arisen disagreements concerning interpretation or application of provisions of this agreement will be solved by negotiations and consultations.
