This Law is directed to creation of the legal basis of policy of homeland security for development of the Azerbaijan Republic as independent, sovereign, democratic state.

Chapter 1. General provisions

The legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic in the field of homeland security consists of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Azerbaijan Republic, and also international treaties which the Azerbaijan Republic joined.
