About perpetuating of memory of the dead in case of protection of the Fatherland

Respect for the dead in case of protection of the Fatherland or its interests - holy duty of all citizens.
This Law governs the relations arising within implementation of the complex actions directed to perpetuating of memory of the dead in case of protection of the Republic of Armenia establishes basic provisions of state policy in this area, organization-legal bases of activities of authorized body of the Government and procedure and conditions financial and material logistics of implementation of actions for perpetuating of memory of the dead in case of protection of the Fatherland.
Are subject to perpetuating:
a) memory of the dead during military operations, accomplishment of other fighting tasks, service duties in case of protection of the Fatherland;
b) memory died in case of execution of military duty in the territories of other states;
c) memory of the dead from the wounds, contusions and diseases (irrespective of time of their acquisition) acquired in case of protection of the Fatherland and also memory of missing persons during conducting military operations, accomplishment of other fighting tasks or service duties;
d) memory of the persons which appeared as a result of fighting in captivity and who died, but devoted to the Homeland - highly bearing the honor and advantage;
e) memory of the foreign citizens who died in case of protection of the Republic of Armenia. Also connections, military divisions, places of the fighting which became history as symbols of patriotism, heroism and courage are subject to perpetuating.
