About cooperation in the field of tourism
The government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Turkmenistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
recognizing mutual interest in establishment of close and long-term collaboration in the field of tourism,
wishing to develop the relations between the states in this area, and also between their national tourist organizations,
agreed as follows:
The parties strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of tourism on the basis of equality, mutual advantage and according to this agreement, the national legal system of their states and International treaties which participants are the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The parties promote expansion of tourist exchange between the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, for the purpose of acquaintance with life, history and culture of both people.
The parties will support closer cooperation between the state bodies of the sphere of tourism of the states and other organizations participating in development of the international and internal tourism.
The parties promote exchange of information about development of the tourist industry of the states, and also information on carrying out promotion companies, conferences and seminars, the organization of exhibitions and fairs.
By mutual consent of the Parties changes and additions which are drawn up by separate protocols, being its integral parts can be made to this agreement.
This agreement does not affect the rights and obligations of the Parties following from other international treaties which participants are their states.
In case of disagreements during application of this agreement, the Party resolve them by mutual consultations and negotiations.
