For the purpose of realization of the Platform of actions of the IV World Conference on Women (Beijing, 1995) and according to the National plan of action for advancement of women in the Republic of Kazakhstan approved decided the Governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 19, 1999 N 999, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan

DECIDES:

1. Approve the enclosed Rules of the organization of interaction of the state bodies, organizations and public associations dealing with problems of violence against women.

2. This resolution becomes effective from the date of signing.

1. General provisions

1. The basic concepts used by these rules:

1) gender - the concept of development (domestic policy) of the state reflecting system of roles and relations between men and women which depends not only on biological, but also social, political and economic factors;

2) gender equality - identical (equivalent) provision of people in society irrespective of their sex;

3) traffic - sales abroad of the female persons enlisted on the different bases for their subsequent sexual and economic exploitation;

4) the crisis centers - non-profit organizations for female victims of violence where they receive the advisory psychological, legal and first pre-medical assistance or the direction in shelter;
