About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine on protection of fauna

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. In the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (The sheet of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1984, appendix to No. 51, the Art. 1122):

1) in Article 85-1:

a) state the name in the following edition:

"Article 85-1. Production, sale, storage or advertizing of the prohibited tools of production (collection) of objects of animal or flora";

b) in paragraph one of part one of the word "or it is sold" shall be replaced with words "sale or storage", and after the word of "production" to add with the word of "(collection)";

c) add with part two of the following content:

"Advertizing, and also any other activities for advertizing or distribution of the prohibited tools of production (collection) of objects of animal or flora -

involve imposing of penalty on citizens from fifty to hundred free minima income of citizens and on officials of the advertiser or the distributor of advertizing - from hundred to two hundred fifty free minima income of citizens";

"Violation of procedure for acquisition, sale or distribution of objects of animal or flora -

attracts imposing of penalty from thirty to hundred free minima income of citizens with confiscation of objects of animal or flora or without that.

The same actions made concerning the objects of animal or flora which are in limits of the territories and objects of natural and reserved fund included in the Red List of Ukraine, or protected according to international treaties of Ukraine -

involve imposing of penalty from hundred to two hundred fifteen free minima income of citizens with confiscation of objects of animal or flora.

Abuse of regulations of content of wild animals in bondage or in semi-free conditions -

attracts imposing of penalty from three to fifty free minima income of citizens with confiscation of objects of animal or flora or without that";
