About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" concerning service in war reserve during the special period

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, No. 38, Art. 324 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

In paragraph six of part nine of Article 1 of the word "in voluntary procedure" to exclude 1);

To exclude 2) in part seven of Article 2 of the word "in voluntary procedure";

To add 3) with Article 26-2 of the following content:

"Article 26-2. Service in war reserve during the special period

1. The military personnel dismissed from compulsory military service, military service on mobilization for the period which according to the professional and psychological characteristics and the state of health are suitable for service in war reserve is without fail enlisted in the special period on service in war operational reserve of the first priority and services in war reserve conform to the established requirements.

Transfer on service in war operational reserve of the first priority is performed by commanders (chiefs) of military units (organizations) in case of dismissal of the military personnel from compulsory military service or military service on mobilization, for the period what such serviceman in day of dismissal is in writing notified by the commander (chief) of military unit under the personal signature on.

2. The contract on passing by the citizen of Ukraine of service in war reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military forming cannot be stopped (will terminate) during the special period, and the citizen who imprisoned him and is enlisted in war operational reserve of the first priority continues service in war reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military forming on the conditions determined by the legislation before completion of the special period.
