About modification of the Law of Turkmenistan "About currency control and currency exchange control in the external economic relations"

Part third of article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan "About currency control and currency exchange control in the external economic relations", accepted on October 1, 2011 (Sheets of Majlis of Turkmenistan, 2011, No. 4, Art. 74; 2013, No. 3, Art. 59; 2014, No. 1, to the Art. 49) to state in the following edition:

"3. The currency transactions between residents and nonresidents connected with cession of property and performance of works (rendering services) in the territory of Turkmenistan are performed only in national currency, except as specified, provided by the foreign exchange legislation of Turkmenistan, the Law of Turkmenistan "About hydrocarbonic resources", acts of the President of Turkmenistan.

If the specified currency transactions connected with cession of property and performance of works (rendering services) by residents for nonresidents are performed in non-cash type, they can be as agreed by the parties made also in foreign currency.".

II. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
