About the organization and holding actions for development of the directions and approaches to reforming of the forest sector of the Kyrgyz Republic

For the purpose of preliminary development of mechanisms and approbation of technology of reforming of the forest sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, implementation of the Concept of development of forest industry of the Kyrgyz Republic approved by the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of April 14, 2004 No. 256, according to Article 18 of the Forest code of the Kyrgyz Republic the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Approve Regulations on the organization and holding actions for development of the directions and approaches to reforming of the forest sector of the Kyrgyz Republic according to appendix 1.

2. To the state agency of environmental protection and forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- study condition of the forest sector of the Kyrgyz Republic and hold the relevant activities for development of the main directions of reforming of the forest sector of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- form Advisory coordination council with participation of representatives of state bodies, international and public organizations for interaction and ensuring transparency of process of development of the main directions of reforming of forest industry;

- determine the list of experimental (pilot) forestry for studying of their activities and development of the main directions of reforming of the forest sector by means of approbation of new approaches to management of the woods.

3. To the state agency of environmental protection and forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- following the results of the held events specified in Item 2 of this resolution:
