About modification of article 4 of the Federal law "About Operational Search Activities"

Article 1

Bring in article 4 of the Federal Law of August 12, 1995 No. 144-FZ "About operational search activities" (The Russian Federation Code, 1995, No. 33, of the Art. 3349) change, having added it with part three of the following content:

"The organization and tactics of carrying out by law-enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation, customs authorities of the Russian Federation, Federal Penitentiary Service, drug trafficking monitoring bodies and psychotropic substances of investigation and search operations (except the observation made on the open area in vehicles and public places) with use of the special technical means intended for secret receipt of information are determined by the departmental regulatory legal acts approved with Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.".

Article 2

The departmental regulatory legal acts provided by part three of article 4 of the Federal Law of August 12, 1995 No. 144-FZ "About operational search activities" (in edition of this Federal Law), the entries into force of this Federal Law which became effective about one day, are subject to approval of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and reissuing within one year from the date of entry into force of this Federal Law.
