About cinematography
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
(1) the Subject of this law is constituted by basic provisions on realization of state policy in the field of cinematography.
(2) the Purposes of this law are:
a) ensuring preserving and development of cinematography as component of national culture;
b) regulation of cinema activities;
c) creation of necessary conditions for ensuring access of the population to works of cinematography.
For the purposes of this law concepts of the following value are used:
cinematography - the area of culture and art combining the activities connected with creation, production, financing, distribution, distribution and use (reproduction, recovery, hire, display) of movies and other works of cinematography;
the movie - end product of works in the field of cinematography of which creation of the art, animation and documentary works intended for viewing at movie theaters, film video installations by means of the telecasts distributed by any methods and also by record and distribution on any material carrier is result. The movie lasting at least 52 minutes is full-length, and the movie lasting less than 52 minutes - short;
the national movie - the movie satisfying to at least two of the following conditions:
a) at least two authors of the movie, half of the actors approved for leading roles, half of technical and working personnel are citizens of the Republic of Moldova;
