About interstate use of water objects, water resources and water management constructions of the Kyrgyz Republic

Water resources of Kyrgyzstan are its national wealth.
This Law determines the principles and the main directions of state policy of the Kyrgyz Republic by interstate use of water objects, water resources and water management constructions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Main objectives of this Law are:
- preserving, protection and development of the water fund of the Kyrgyz Republic which is one of the main sources of water supply of the countries of Central Asia;
- regulation and regulation of the principles of provision of water resources of the Kyrgyz Republic to the interested sovereign states on reasonable and mutually advantageous basis taking into account the market economic relations.

If the international treaty which participant is the Kyrgyz Republic establishes other rules, than those which contain in the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic then are applied rules of the international treaty.
