About introduction of amendments to article 10-1 of the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in article 10-1 of the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 15, Art. 190; 2006, No. 51, Art. 519; 2007, No. 33, Art. 442; 2010, No. 19, Art. 151; 2013, No. 14, Art. 89; 2014, No. 11, Art. 132, No. 29, Art. 942, No. 35, Art. 1179; 2015, No. 13, Art. 85; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of March 18, 2015 No. 259-VIII) the following changes:

1. In the paragraph the second Item 2 of the word "are accepted on military service under the contract" shall be replaced with words "except the military personnel of compulsory military service".

2. In Item 3 of the word and figures shall be replaced with words "at least 24 calendar days" also in figures "at least 15 calendar days".

3. Add with Item of 21 following contents:

"21. In case of failure to provide annual main leaves by the serviceman in connection with approach of the periods provided by Items 17 and 18 of this Article, such leaves are granted next year. It is in that case allowed to combine at the request of the military personnel annual main leaves in two years, but at the same time the general duration of the joint leave cannot exceed 90 calendar days.

The specified leaves can be granted by several parts (more than two), without restriction of duration of each of them".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in a month from the date of entry into force of this Law:

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide review and reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
