About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning social protection of citizens of Ukraine who pass military service during the special period

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. In the Labor code of Ukraine (The sheet of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1971, appendix to No. 50, the Art. 375):

Item 3 parts one of Article 36 to state 1) in the following edition:

"3) appeal or arrival of the worker or owner - physical person on military service, the direction on alternative (not military) service, except cases when for the worker remain place of employment, position according to parts three and the fourth article 119 of this Code";

2) in Article 119:

in part three of the word "called on military service on mobilization, for the special period" shall be replaced with words "called up for compulsory military service, military service on mobilization, for the special period", and the words "to the announcement of the decision on demobilization, but no more than one year" – the words "about day of the actual demobilization";

the fourth to state part in the following edition:

"For workers who were called during mobilization for the special period and subject to dismissal from military service in connection with the announcement of demobilization, but continue military service in connection with acceptance on military service under the contract, but no more than for the term of the signed contract, the place of employment, position remain and average earnings at the company, in organization, the organizations in which they worked for appeal time, irrespective of subordination and pattern of ownership are compensated from the budget. Payment of such compensations from the budget within average earnings is made at the expense of means of the Government budget of Ukraine according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine".
