About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning features of broadcasting (relaying) of the advertizing containing in programs and transfers of the foreign teleradio organizations

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1) part the ninth article 13 of the Law of Ukraine "About advertizing" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2004, No. 8, Art. 62; 2008, 18, 197) to state No. to the Art. in the following edition:

"9. Broadcast (relaying) of the advertizing containing in programs and transmissions of the foreign teleradio organizations which are broadcast (are relayed) on the territory of Ukraine if the foreign teleradio organizations do not fall under jurisdiction of member states of the European Union or states which ratified the European convention on cross-border television, it is forbidden.

Broadcast (relaying) of the advertizing containing in programs and transfers of the foreign teleradio organizations which fall under jurisdiction of member states of the European Union or states which ratified the European convention on cross-border television broadcast (relayed) on the territory of Ukraine is allowed only if for broadcast (relaying) of such advertizing it is paid to the legal entity of Ukraine, irrespective of method of implementation of such broadcasting (relaying).

Placement of program service of advertizing by providers in programs and transfers of the foreign teleradio organizations is forbidden";

2) part the second article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "About television and broadcasting" (2006, 18, the Art. 155) to state sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to No. in the following edition:
