This Law governs the public relations arising in connection with creation and activities of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan, establishes the rights and obligations of their members.
1. Chamber of Commerce and Industry - the non-profit, non-state, self-financed and self-governed organization combining on voluntary basis of individual entrepreneurs and (or) legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also their association (unions) for the purpose of creating favorable conditions for development of business activity, protection of their rights and legitimate interests.
2. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry can be engaged in business activity only so far as it answers its authorized purpose.
3. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry does not answer for obligations the members as well as members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry do not answer for its obligations.
1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Chambers of Commerce and Industry is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. If the international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes other rules, than those which are provided by this Law then are applied rules of the international treaty.
