About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning the organization of carrying out the first elections of deputies of local councils and rural, settlement, city chairmen

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About local elections" of July 14, 2015 No. 595-VIII:

Paragraph one of part six of Article 14 to state 1) in the following edition:

"6. The first elections of deputies, rural, settlement, city chairmen are appointed by Central Election Commission according to the procedure, determined by the law";

Part one of Article 24 to add 2) with subitem 1-1 of the following content:

"1-1) appoints the first elections of deputies, rural, settlement, city chairmen according to the procedure, determined by the law".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About voluntary consolidation of territorial communities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2015, No. 13, the Art. 91):

1) in Article 7:

in the name of the word "Requirements to Projects" to replace with the word "Preparation";

the seventh and eighth to state parts in the following edition:

"7. In case of adoption by village, settlement, city councils of decisions on voluntary consolidation of territorial communities, and also in case of support of voluntary consolidation of territorial communities on local referendum the rural, settlement, city chairman of territorial community in which the question of voluntary consolidation of territorial communities is initiated addresses to Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regional administration with the offer to address to Central Election Commission for adoption by it of the decision on purpose of the first elections of deputies of village, settlement, city council and the corresponding rural, settlement, city chairman in the procedure established by the law.
