About entering of amendments into the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About consumer protection"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About consumer protection" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1998, No. 2, the Art. 5) the following amendments:

1. In paragraph one of Item 5 of article 17 after the word of "check" to add with the words "or the document confirming payment of goods in non-cash form".

2. Add Article 27 with the paragraph the fifteenth the following content:

"limit the buyer in the choice of payment method when calculating for goods (works, services) in non-cash form (payment cards) with use of hardware peripheral devices according to the procedure established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The list of trade and service companies, and also criteria according to which trade and service companies shall establish at themselves POS terminals for acceptance and servicing of bank payment cards are determined by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in coordination with National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.".

Article 2. To the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in three-months time from the date of entry into force of this Law to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.

This Law becomes effective after two months from the date of official publication.
