About Regulations on technical information security in Ukraine

1. Approve Regulations on technical information security in Ukraine it (is applied).

2. Determine that the Security Service of Ukraine is legal successor of the State committee of Ukraine concerning the state secrets.

3. Make changes to the following presidential decrees of Ukraine:

1) ceased to be valid

2) in Regulations on the procedure of cryptographic information security in Ukraine approved by the Presidential decree of Ukraine of May 22, 1998 No. 505 (with the changes made by the Decree of September 15, 1998 No. 1019):

in Item 3 of the word "Head Department of Government Communication of the Security Service of Ukraine (Further — Head Department)" shall be replaced with words "Department of special telecommunication systems and information security of the Security Service of Ukraine (further - Department)";

in Item 10 of the word "Head department" to replace with the word "Department".

4. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Decree.

Regulations on technical information security in Ukraine

1. This Provision determines legal and organizational basis of technical protection important for the state, society and the identity of information which protection is provided with the state according to the legislation.

Technical information security is performed concerning public authorities, local government bodies, governing bodies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military forming formed according to the legislation of Ukraine, the relevant companies, organizations, organizations (further - bodies concerning which TZI is performed).
