Regulations on procedure of cryptographic information security in Ukraine

1. This Provision determines procedure of cryptographic information security with limited access which disclosure puts (can cause) damage to the state, society or person.

2. The terms accepted in this Provision have the following values:

cryptographic protection - protection type which is implemented by means of transformations of information with use of special data (key data) for the purpose of concealment (or recoveries) contents of information, confirmation of its authenticity, integrity, authorship and so forth;

means of cryptographic information security - the program, hardware-software, hardware or other means intended for cryptographic information security;

cryptographic system (cryptosystem) - set of means of cryptographic information security, necessary key, normative, operational, and also other documentation (including such that determines security measures) which use provides the proper level of security of information which is processed, stored and transferred;

system of cryptographic information security - set of bodies, divisions, groups which activities are aimed at providing cryptographic information security, and the companies, organizations and organizations which develop make, operate and (or) extend cryptosystems and means of cryptographic information security.

3. State policy in the field of cryptographic information security according to the law is realized by Public service of special communication and information security of Ukraine (daleegosspetssvyaz of Ukraine).
