About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on the state fee No. 1216-XII of December 3, 1992 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 53-55, 302), with subsequent changes to make the following change and addition:

1. Item 11) parts (Article 2 to add 1) with words ", and also in the industrial drawing or model;".

2. 10) of Article 3 to state Item in the following edition:

"10) for issue of permission to use of official or historical state in:

a) trademark and/or service mark of 5000 lei

b) the industrial drawing or model (on one request,

including multispecific) 2500 lei".

Art. II. – In the Law on protection of industrial drawings and models No. 161-XVI of July 12, 2007 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, Art. No. 136-140, 577), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. Add the law with preamble of the following content:

"This law is transposition of Regulations of Council (EC) No. 6/2002 of December 12, 2001 about industrial designs of the European community (published in the Official magazine of the European Union No. L 3 of January 5, 2002).".

2. Add Article 3 with the concept "International Register" of the following content:

"The international register – official selection of data on the international registration which is conducted by the International bureau of World Intellectual Property Organization which record is provided by the Hague agreement on the international registration of industrial drawings and models of November 6, 1925, irrespective of the carrier on which they are stored.".

3. Item b) parts (Article 4 to add 2) with words ", according to this law;".

4. In part (2) Article 5:

Item b) to add with words "which is issued on paper in electronic format, and also it is posted on the official site of the Agency;";
