About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" concerning refining of terms of military service under the contract

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About conscription and military service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, No. 38, Art. 324 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. In Article 23:

The paragraph third parts one after the words "have degree of the higher education" to add 1) with the words "specialist or";

Part third to add 2) with paragraphs second and third the following content:

"For the military personnel of compulsory military service and the military personnel of military service in case of mobilization for the special period who during action of the special period served at least 11 months of persons discharged from military service during action of the special period who are accepted on military service under the contract during the period from the moment of the announcement of mobilization until introduction of warlike situation (approach of wartime) or the announcement of the decision on demobilization, the term of military service in calendar calculation is established six months. The term of passing of military service for such military personnel can be prolonged under new contracts for term of six months.

In case of the end of the special period or the announcement of the decision on demobilization such contracts are terminated ahead of schedule";

Item 2 parts nine to state 3) in the following edition:

"2) for the military personnel passing military service under the contract, operation of the contract continues over fixed terms for the period to the announcement of demobilization, except the cases determined by the paragraph the second parts three of this Article and part eight of article 26 of this Law".

2. In Article 26:
