About prevention of influence of corruption offenses on results of official sports competitions

This Law is directed to prevention of impact on results of official sports competitions of the corruption offenses and violations connected with corruption (further - corruption offenses) in the field of sport, determines the principles, features of subjects and measures of the prevention and identification of the specified violations and elimination of their effects, and also responsibility for them.

Section I. General provisions

Article 1. Determination of terms

In this Law the terms below are used in such value:

activities in the field of sport - the activities of the subjects determined by the law connected with training of athletes, the organization, carrying out and providing sporting events, and also with management of development of the sports officially recognized in Ukraine;

support sports personnel - any coach, the mentor, manager, the agent, the worker of team, the official of team, medical and other personnel which services or treats the athletes participating or preparing for competitions;

exclusive sports information - office information on official sports competition and its participants which person has thanks to official position, except information well-known, easily accessible or opened according to the rules regulating the corresponding sports competition;

conflict of interest - provision by person of benefit to its private interest over interest of proper accomplishment of the public debt by it;

persons authorized on holding official sports competition - sports judges of competition, judges, the inspector, the delegate, other accredited persons who have special professional training also are in accordance with the established procedure intended for holding official sports competition;
