About additional measures social protection of the military personnel who is combat veterans in the territory of other states
Based on the Regulations on the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of November 19, 2001 No. 685 "About the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus and the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus" for the purpose of forming of respect and recognition of services in battle of the military personnel who are combat veterans in the territory of other states and ensuring their social protection the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Determine that:
1.1. the military personnel passing military service under the contract in Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and being combat veterans in the territory of other states (further - combat veterans), except the rights established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus in addition are granted the following rights:
1.1.1. to the combat veterans awarded with awards (medals) for direct participation in fighting and who showed high professional qualities and managerials ability in case of fulfillment of duties of military service - the right on preferential with other things being equal:
appointment to the highest positions;
leaving on military service in connection with organizational and regular actions;
representation to assignment of honorary titles and the next military ranks ahead of schedule as encouragement, and also to rewarding with the state awards;
